Retro soul, smart ride
Classic styling meets modern efficiency. The M9 pairs a torquey 250W brushless motor and five levels of pedal assist with genuine all-day range from its twin 48V 17.5Ah batteries. Add dual suspension, fat tyres and a full utility kit, and you have a comfortable, capable commuter that's equally happy on the school run, the shop run or a weekend spin.
250W brushless motor
A smooth, efficient 250W high-speed brushless motor with a sinusoidal-wave controller and five levels of pedal assist delivers natural, responsive power while staying fully EU-compliant at 25 km/h.
Dual battery, big range
Two quick-release 48V 17.5Ah lithium batteries (35Ah combined) give a claimed range of up to 130 km, so you can commute all week between charges. Each pack lifts out for easy, secure charging indoors.
NFC unlocking & smart display
Say goodbye to fumbling for keys — a quick NFC tap powers up the bike. The multifunction colour LCD shows speed, assist level and battery status, and even includes Type-C charging.
Hydraulic disc brakes
Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors give strong, controlled stopping power in all weather — reassuring on a fully-loaded utility bike.
Full dual suspension
A spring-hydraulic front fork with ~100 mm of travel plus rear suspension smooth out potholes and rough surfaces, keeping the ride comfortable and planted around town.
Built for utility
A front basket, rear rack, dual seat with footrests, full lights with indicators, mudguards and an enclosed chain guard make the M9 genuinely practical for commuting, deliveries and shared rides.

FAQ about the Pixar M9 Electric Bike
Is the Pixar M9 road-legal in Ireland?
Yes. With a 250W motor and pedal assistance that cuts off at 25 km/h, the M9 meets the EU pedelec (EPAC) standard, so in pedal-assist it's treated like a regular bicycle in Ireland — no tax, insurance or licence required. The throttle is limited to a 6 km/h walk-assist. We recommend always wearing a helmet and using lights at night.
How far can it really go on a charge?
The twin 48V 17.5Ah batteries give a combined 35Ah and a claimed range of up to 130 km. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, assist level and weather, so expect a practical range that's lower than the maximum. Each battery charges in roughly 7.5 hours.
How does NFC unlocking work?
Instead of a key, you simply tap the supplied NFC card or tag on the display to power the bike up. It's a quick, modern way to secure the M9, and it's backed up by a key alarm system for extra peace of mind.
Can two people ride it?
The M9 has a dual seat with footrests designed for carrying a passenger. Please check your local rules on carrying passengers on an e-bike, ride within the 120 kg maximum load, and take extra care with the heavier, longer load.
Is it comfortable and good in the wet?
Full dual suspension, 20″ × 4″ fat tyres and a relaxed riding position make it very comfortable on city streets and rough surfaces. With an IP54 rating it handles rain and damp roads — just avoid deep water and jet-washing.
Does it need assembly?
The M9 arrives mostly assembled with only minor setup required. If you'd prefer, our Dublin workshop can build and safety-check it for you before collection or dispatch — just ask.
What warranty and support do you offer?
The M9 comes with a standard manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects, plus after-sales support, spares and servicing from Inner City Scooters in Dublin. Please confirm the current warranty terms with us at the time of purchase.
Do you deliver across Ireland, and is finance available?
Yes — we ship nationwide across Ireland, usually within a few working days, and you're welcome to collect in Dublin. You can spread the cost with 0% finance options such as Klarna and humm at checkout, subject to approval.
