Pedal-assist levels, speed and range
Five assist levels let you trade speed for range. The figures below are Pixar's own test results with an 80 kg rider on flat roads; expect a practical everyday range of around 55–70 km in Irish conditions with hills, wind and higher assist levels.
| PAS level | Average speed | Range |
|---|---|---|
| PAS 1 | 10 km/h | 150 km |
| PAS 2 | 14 km/h | 122 km |
| PAS 3 | 18 km/h | 92 km |
| PAS 4 | 22 km/h | 77 km |
| PAS 5 | 25 km/h | 70 km |
Results obtained with a rider weighing 80 kg in a flat road environment at 33 °C. Cruising range varies with riding conditions, rider weight, terrain and temperature.

FAQ about the Pixar C1 Pro Electric Bike
Is the Pixar C1 Pro road-legal in Ireland?
Yes. With a 250W motor and pedal assistance that cuts off at 25 km/h, the C1 Pro meets the EU pedelec (EPAC / EN 15194) standard, so ridden in pedal-assist it is treated like a regular bicycle in Ireland — no tax, insurance, licence or registration needed. The built-in walk-assist is limited to 5 km/h. Wear a helmet and use the lights after dark.
How far does the Pixar C1 Pro really go on a charge?
The 36V 18Ah Samsung battery gives 648Wh. Pixar's own testing shows 150 km in PAS 1 (10 km/h average) down to 70 km in PAS 5 (25 km/h) with an 80 kg rider on flat roads. In everyday Irish riding with hills and wind, plan on around 55–70 km — comfortably a few days of commuting between charges.
How long does it take to charge?
The battery charges from empty in roughly 4–7.5 hours with the supplied 42V 2A smart charger. It is quick-release, so you can lift it out and charge indoors. Avoid charging in direct sunlight or very hot conditions, and keep the bike out of the rain while the battery is removed because the controller sits under the battery mount.
Does the C1 Pro have a throttle?
The C1 Pro is a pedal-assist e-bike with a 5 km/h walk-assist. Pixar supplies a half-twist accelerator grip separately as an accessory; it is intended for private land, and on Irish public roads you should ride in pedal-assist to stay within the pedelec rules.
Is the C1 Pro OK in Irish rain?
Yes. The bike is rated IP54 and the battery and display are IPX6, so rain, splashes and wet roads are fine. Avoid deep water and jet-washing, and dry the bike off before storing it.
What height does the Pixar C1 Pro suit?
Pixar recommends riders from 150 cm to 200 cm. The low step-over frame, 82–106 cm seat-height range and 100° adjustable stem make it easy to dial in a comfortable position. You are welcome to try one for size at our Ballymount showroom in Dublin.
Can I carry shopping or a child seat?
Yes. The rear rack with side hooks and the front basket are included, and the rack is compatible with panniers and child seats. Stay within the 120 kg maximum load and check the child seat manufacturer's fitting guidance.
Does the C1 Pro need assembly?
It arrives mostly built — fit the front wheel, pedals, seat and handlebar using the supplied toolkit. If you prefer, our Dublin workshop can assemble and safety-check the bike before collection or delivery.
Is the Pixar C1 Pro eligible for the Bike to Work scheme?
Yes. At under the €1,500 e-bike limit and with EU pedelec compliance, the C1 Pro qualifies for the Irish Bike to Work scheme. Contact us for an invoice or quote for your employer.
What warranty, delivery and finance do you offer?
The C1 Pro comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty, backed by after-sales support, spares and servicing at Inner City Scooters in Dublin. Delivery is free across Ireland, usually within a few working days, with shipping available to the EU, and you can spread the cost with 0% finance options such as Klarna and humm at checkout, subject to approval.
