The DUOTTS E29 is a full-suspension electric mountain bike built for real trail riding and everyday commuting across Ireland. This is the EU version: a Bafang 48V 250W rear hub motor with a genuine torque sensor delivers 50Nm of assistance up to the road-legal 25km/h limit, while a frame-integrated 48V 13.5Ah (648Wh) removable battery returns up to 90km per charge. An adjustable ZOOM 100mm fork, a DNM 750lb air shock, Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes and 27.5" x 2.6" Maxxis tyres handle broken tarmac, gravel and forest track alike. Torque-sensor pedal assist, genuine full suspension and Shimano hydraulic braking make the E29 a capable e-MTB that still meets the EU pedelec rules for Irish roads and greenways.
Responsive Torque Sensor for Smart Support
The torque sensor adjusts motor output to your actual pedalling effort rather than simply detecting movement, so assistance feels smooth and natural. It also improves efficiency and extends range, which you notice most when climbing or riding into a headwind.
Seamless Integrated Battery with Extended Range
Built neatly into the down tube, the 48V 13.5Ah (648Wh) pack keeps the frame clean and adds water and dust protection. Expect up to 90km of assisted riding on a single charge, enough for the daily commute or a long weekend loop.
Adjustable ZOOM Fork for Smoother Rides
The single-side aluminium ZOOM fork gives 100mm of travel with preload adjustment and lockout, soaking up rough ground off-road and firming up for efficient pedalling on smooth tarmac.
DNM Air Shock for Custom Rear Suspension
The adjustable DNM 750lb air shock can be tuned to rider weight and terrain for controlled rebound and better traction. Comfort and stability hold up across technical trails and broken road surfaces.
High-Torque Bafang Motor for Trail Power
The Bafang 48V rear hub motor is rated at 250W with 720W peak output and 50Nm of torque, enough to clear gradients of up to 30°. It stays quiet and efficient, and assistance cuts off at 25km/h to keep the E29 EU-compliant.

27.5" Maxxis Tyres for Traction and Stability
Maxxis 27.5" x 2.6" 60 TPI tyres balance grip and rolling speed, absorbing shock on loose surfaces while staying composed on wet Dublin streets. They cover gravel, forest track and city commuting without a tyre change.
Removable Long-Range Battery
The 648Wh pack lifts out of the frame so you can charge indoors and store the battery securely, which matters if the bike lives in a shed, hallway or apartment bike store. A full charge takes roughly 6 to 7 hours on the supplied 54.6V 2A charger.
Shimano MT200 Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Dual-piston Shimano MT200 hydraulic brakes on 180mm rotors front and rear give strong, progressive stopping with good heat management. That means predictable control on steep descents and in Irish rain.
Shimano Tourney 2x7-Speed Drivetrain
The Shimano Tourney 2x7 derailleur setup shifts cleanly and is easy and inexpensive to service. Its wide gear range lets you hold a comfortable cadence whether you are spinning up a climb or riding flat out at the assist limit.
3.5" HD Display with USB Type-C Charging
The 3.5" colour LCD shows speed, battery level, distance and assist level at a glance, and doubles as a USB Type-C charging point for your phone or lights. Assist runs across five levels plus off.
