City & Commuter e-bikes — FAQs

Are these e-bikes road-legal in Ireland?

E-bikes with pedal assist limited to 25 km/h and a 250W-rated motor meet the EU pedelec standard and can be ridden on Irish roads without a licence, tax or insurance. Some models include a throttle — on public roads, ride using pedal assist only. Check each product page for the exact motor and throttle details.

Can I buy one through the Cycle to Work Scheme?

Yes. Our city and commuter e-bikes are Cycle to Work Scheme eligible, so you can save roughly 30–52% through your employer — up to €1,500 for e-bikes and up to €3,000 for cargo e-bikes.

Which commuter e-bike is best for a train or bus combined commute?

A folding model such as the Fiido D3 Pro Mini, Engwe T14 or Engwe ZIP is the best fit — they fold quickly and are easier to carry on and off public transport.

Can I see these bikes in person?

Yes. Visit our showroom at Unit 19B, Fashion City, Ballymount, Dublin 24 (D24 YT68) to see the range, compare models and get expert advice before you buy.

Do the bikes arrive assembled?

Bikes are delivered boxed with minimal setup required, and ship across Ireland and the EU. In Dublin, an assembled, ready-to-ride delivery is available as a paid option on request.
