FAQ about the Fiido C21 Electric Bike
Is the Fiido C21 road-legal in Ireland?
Yes. The C21 is a 250 W pedal-assist (pedelec) e-bike with assistance cutting off at 25 km/h and no throttle, so it meets the EU EPAC standard. In Ireland that means it's treated like a normal bicycle — no tax, insurance or licence required when ridden in pedal-assist mode.
How far can it go on one charge?
Up to 100 km in eco pedal-assist mode. Real-world range depends on assist level, rider weight, terrain and wind — expect a comfortable commuting range, with an optional range-extender battery available for longer days.
How long does it take to charge?
The 208.8 Wh battery charges fully in around 3 hours, and it's removable so you can charge it indoors or at your desk.
Can I ride it in the rain?
Yes. The C21 has a full-bike IP54 rating, so it handles Irish rain and splashes. As with any bike, avoid deep water and dry it down after wet rides.
How much does it weigh and is it foldable?
It weighs about 17.5 kg — light for an e-bike — making it easy to carry up steps or lift onto a rack. It is not a folding bike.
What rider height does it suit?
The C21 fits riders roughly 160 cm to 205 cm tall, across sizes M, L and XL. If you're between sizes, get in touch and we'll help you choose.
Is it available on the Bike to Work scheme?
Yes — the Fiido C21 is eligible under the Bike to Work scheme. We typically dispatch within 1–2 working days, with delivery across Ireland in around 2–3 working days, or collect in-store in Dublin.
What warranty and servicing do you offer?
The C21 comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, and our Dublin workshop can service and repair it locally.
