The Revvi 20" Plus is the most capable 20-inch bike Revvi has built, aimed at confident young riders ready to move beyond the standard 20. A 48V 1000W brushless hub motor peaking at 1500W with 132Nm of torque drives strong acceleration and real climbing ability, while three selectable speed modes of 22km/h, 32km/h and 43km/h let parents cap performance while skills build. The removable 48V 15Ah lithium battery sits fully enclosed in the frame and swaps out in around a minute, with an external charge port so the bike can be charged without taking it out.

Suspension is a clear step up on anything else in the range, with an EXHO adjustable air fork up front and a Fastace adjustable rear shock, both offering compression and rebound adjustment. Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear handle the extra speed, and 20in knobbly pneumatic tyres on metal spoked rims give grip across trails, private tracks and open ground. At 28kg with a 75kg max rider weight, adjustable handlebar height and a heavy-duty adjustable seat, it is built to grow with the rider. For off-road use on private land only.

The Revvi 20″ Plus takes the 20″ wheel and gives it the 24″’s powertrain. The 24″’s power in a 20″ chassis

The 20″ Plus sits between the standard Revvi 20″ and the Revvi 24″, and it borrows the big bike’s powertrain wholesale: the same 48V 1000W hub motor with a 1500W peak and 132 N·m of torque, and the same 48V 15Ah battery. Dropping that into a 20″ frame that weighs 28 kg makes it noticeably quicker to turn and easier to throw around than the 24″.

Suspension is fully adjustable at both ends — an EXHO air fork with compression and rebound adjustment up front and a Fastace spring shock with compression and rebound at the rear, on a forged swingarm with linkage. Hydraulic discs front and rear, spoked 20″ rims and aggressive knobbly tyres complete it. Inner City Scooters stocks the Revvi range and Revvi spares at our Ballymount showroom in Dublin 24.

Key features of the Revvi 20″ Plus

48V 1000W brushless hub motor

Rated at 1000W and peaking at 1500W with 132 N·m of torque — the same unit as the Revvi 24″, in a lighter, more agile 20″ chassis. No chain or sprockets to maintain.

Three speed settings

13.6 mph (slow), 20 mph (medium) and 27 mph (fast) — roughly 22, 32 and 43 km/h. Hold it at the lower settings for a newer rider and open it up as skill grows.

Fully adjustable suspension

An EXHO air fork with compression and rebound adjustment at the front and a Fastace spring shock with compression and rebound at the rear — set it up for the rider’s weight and the terrain.

Hydraulic disc brakes

Hydraulic discs front and rear — the stopping power a 27 mph bike needs, with consistent feel in the wet and the dry.

48V 15Ah lithium battery

A big 15Ah pack with a battery-level display, giving up to 1 hour 20 minutes in slow mode. A full charge takes about 5 hours.

Forged swingarm & 20″ spoked wheels

An aluminium alloy frame with a forged swingarm and linkage, on spoked 20″ rims with aggressive knobbly tyres — strong, stable and rebuildable.

Revvi’s official promo for the 20″ Plus and 24″ bikes, plus a short look at how Revvi bikes are built.

How Revvi bikes are made

Size, fit and dimensions

The Revvi 20″ Plus is aimed at riders from about 10 years and up. It measures 110 cm long and 95 cm tall, with 26.5 cm of ground clearance and a seat that adjusts between 71 cm and 88 cm. Maximum permitted rider weight is 75 kg, so it suits many adult riders too. If it is a size too big, the standard Revvi 20″ and Revvi 18″ are the steps below; the Revvi 24″ is the step above. Call in to our Dublin 24 showroom and we will size your rider before you buy.

Revvi 20″ Plus dimensions: 110 cm long, 95 cm tall, 26.5 cm ground clearance, seat height 71–88 cm.
Where to ride: the Revvi 20″ Plus reaches 27 mph (about 43 km/h) and is a powerful off-road machine for private land with the owner’s permission. It is not legal on Irish public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes, and is not a pedelec. Riders must be supervised by an adult and should wear a helmet, gloves, boots and suitable protective gear. Start in the 13.6 mph mode until the rider is fully confident.

FAQ about the Revvi 20″ Plus Kids’ Electric Bike

How is the 20″ Plus different from the standard Revvi 20″?

The Plus uses the Revvi 24″’s powertrain — a 48V 1000W hub motor with a 1500W peak and a 48V 15Ah battery, versus the standard 20″’s 36V 800W motor and 36V 7.5Ah pack. It also gets a forged swingarm with linkage and fully adjustable EXHO/Fastace suspension. Top speed is 27 mph versus 22 mph.

What age and size is it for?

Revvi rates the 20″ Plus for riders aged roughly 10 and up, though fit depends on height and confidence. The seat adjusts between 71 cm and 88 cm and the maximum permitted rider weight is 75 kg, so plenty of adults ride one too. Our Dublin team can size you or your rider in the showroom.

Can it be ridden on the road in Ireland?

No. At 27 mph (about 43 km/h) with a throttle and no pedals, the Revvi 20″ Plus is not a pedelec and is not legal on Irish public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes. It is for off-road use on private land with the owner’s permission, with a helmet and proper protective gear.

How fast does it go, and can I limit the speed?

It has three speed settings — 13.6 mph (slow), 20 mph (medium) and 27 mph (fast), roughly 22, 32 and 43 km/h. Hold it at the lower settings for a newer rider and raise the limit as skill grows.

How long does it run, and how long does it take to charge?

Roughly 1 hour 20 minutes in slow mode, about 50 minutes in medium and around 30 minutes in fast mode, depending on rider weight, terrain and how hard it is ridden. A full charge of the 48V 15Ah battery takes about 5 hours.

What suspension does it have, and is it adjustable?

Yes, at both ends. An EXHO air fork with compression and rebound adjustment at the front and a Fastace spring shock with compression and rebound adjustment at the rear, on a forged swingarm with linkage.

Does it have a chain, and how much maintenance does it need?

No chain — the 1000W brushless motor is built into the rear hub. Normal care is tyre pressures, brake pads, suspension checks, keeping the battery charged and an occasional bolt check.

Can it be ridden in the rain or in mud?

There is no published IP rating, so treat it as shower- and splash-resistant rather than waterproof. Damp ground, mud and puddles are fine; avoid deep water and never jet wash it. Dry it off after a wet session and keep the battery contacts clean.

Does it need assembly?

The Revvi 20″ Plus arrives largely assembled with only minor setup before the first ride. Our Dublin workshop can build it, charge it, set the suspension and check it over so it is ready to ride — just ask when ordering.

What warranty and after-sales support do you get, and do you deliver?

It carries Revvi’s 6-month manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects, with servicing and Revvi spares from our Dublin 24 workshop. We ship nationwide across Ireland, usually within a few working days, and you can collect in Ballymount. Finance options such as Klarna and humm are available at checkout, subject to approval.
