E-bike and e-scooter helmets — FAQs

Do I need a helmet for an e-bike or e-scooter in Ireland?

Helmets are not legally required for e-bikes or e-scooters in Ireland, but we strongly recommend one. For dirt bikes and off-road riding a full-face helmet is essential.

What helmet should a child wear on an electric bike?

A snug, CE-certified helmet sized for their head. For kids' dirt bikes like the Revvi range, choose a full-face helmet. Note that under-18s cannot ride e-scooters in public in Ireland.

How do I know the size is right?

Measure around the head just above the eyebrows and match it to the size chart on the product page, or call into the shop and we will fit it.

Do you deliver helmets outside Dublin?

Yes. Helmets ship across Ireland and the EU, or collect from Unit 19B, Fashion City, Dublin 24.
