Engwe E26 3.0 Pro Electric Bike
The Engwe E26 3.0 Pro is a full-suspension electric SUV bike built for riders who spend the week commuting and the weekend exploring. A 250W Mivice X700 mid-drive motor with 100Nm of torque and a true torque sensor gives assistance that builds with your pedalling instead of switching on and off, and a removable 720Wh LG battery carries it up to 135km. It is a 25km/h EN15194 pedelec, so in Ireland it is treated like an ordinary bicycle — no tax, no insurance, no licence — and it qualifies for the Cycle to Work scheme. Available from Inner City Scooters, Dublin, with delivery across Ireland and the EU.
Your Everyday Electric SUV
More capable than a trekking e-bike, more comfortable than an all-terrain bike. Built for commuting, countryside rides and weekend exploring.
Mid-Drive Power, Delivered Naturally
Because the motor sits at the cranks rather than in a wheel hub, the E26 3.0 Pro puts its power through the Shimano 8-speed drivetrain — so the gears work for the motor as well as for you. The torque sensor reads how hard you are pushing and matches it, across five assist levels, up to 450% support. The result on a climb is a bike that feels strong rather than jumpy, and the weight sits low and central where it helps handling.
Rated 250W with a 500W peak, the Mivice X700 holds its performance across climbs, gravel and mixed terrain. The motor unit itself weighs just 3.5kg.
Full Suspension, Front and Rear
The 6061 aluminium frame is a genuine full-suspension design, not a hardtail with a sprung seatpost. Up front is an 80mm adjustable fork with hydraulic lockout, so you can firm it up for road sections and open it for rough ground. At the rear, a 30mm air shock on a 4-bar linkage can be set to your own weight — the reason the same bike suits a 70kg and a 110kg rider equally well.
80mm Adjustable Fork
Soaks up gravel and broken road surfaces, with hydraulic lockout for smooth tarmac.
4-Bar Linkage Air Shock
30mm of rear travel, air-adjustable to rider weight for a settled, stable ride.
Range and Charging
The 720Wh (48V 15Ah) LG cell pack is rated to 135km in Engwe's own testing and comes out of the frame for charging indoors. The supplied 54.6V 4A fast charger refills it in 4–5 hours, and an intelligent BMS manages cell balance, temperature and over-discharge.
Connected, Tracked and Protected
The E26 3.0 Pro pairs with the Engwe app for ride data and bike status, and it can project turn-by-turn navigation onto the 3.5in display so you are not looking down at a phone. Built-in GPS tracking with an anti-theft motion alarm sends an alert if the bike is moved without you — the first year of GPS service is included.
Navigation Projection
Directions appear on the bike's own display, so your phone stays in your pocket.
GPS + Anti-Theft Alarm
Movement and geofence alerts in real time, with live location tracking.
Engwe App
Ride data, battery level, assist level, lights and lock, all from your phone.
Grip Where You Need It
26 × 3.0in all-road tyres sit between a road tyre and a fat tyre — wide enough for gravel, sand, grass and wet Dublin cobbles, narrow enough that they do not drag on tarmac. Reflective sidewalls make you visible from the side at junctions, which is where most urban collisions happen.
More To Love
LED Front Light
Powered from the main battery, so there is nothing separate to charge.
Integrated Rear Light
Built into the rear rack, out of the way of panniers and child seats.
Shimano 8-Speed
Familiar, serviceable gearing with parts available from any bike shop.
3.5in Colour Display
Speed, range, assist level and navigation, readable in bright sun and at night.
180mm Hydraulic Discs
Front and rear, with the stopping power a 34kg bike plus rider actually needs.
150kg Payload
Reinforced frame and a 25kg rear rack, for shopping, panniers or a commute load.
Rated For Irish Weather
IPX7 wiring, IPX6 display and lights, IPX5 motor and controller, IPX4 battery box. Rain and road spray are fine; submerging the bike is not.
Where It Goes
Tarmac, cycle routes, gravel, sand, grass, country roads and paved trails. The E26 3.0 Pro is not a downhill mountain bike, but everything short of that is fair game.

Size and Fit
Rider height: 163–193cm • Total length: 197cm • Wheelbase: 126cm
Handlebar height: 120cm • Seat height: 93–103cm • Standover: 48cm
Weight: 34kg with battery, 30.2kg without • Max load: 150kg
The 48cm standover height is low for a bike with this much wheel and suspension, which makes it easy to step over. It does not fold — plan your storage and transport accordingly.

FAQ about the Engwe E26 3.0 Pro
Is the Engwe E26 3.0 Pro road legal in Ireland?
Yes. It is a 250W pedelec whose assistance cuts off at 25km/h and it is certified to EN15194 by TUV, so under Irish and EU law it is treated as an ordinary bicycle. No tax, no insurance, no licence and no registration, and you can use cycle lanes and greenways. It has no throttle, so there is no grey area — it only assists while you pedal.
Does it qualify for the Cycle to Work scheme?
Yes. Because it is an EN15194-compliant 250W pedelec, the E26 3.0 Pro is eligible under the Irish Cycle to Work scheme, which covers e-bikes up to €3,000. Your employer buys the bike and you repay through salary deductions, saving income tax, USC and PRSI. Talk to us before you order and we will send your employer everything they need.
What range will I actually get in Ireland?
Engwe's 135km figure is a best case — lowest assist level, flat ground, light rider, no wind. On real Irish roads with hills and weather, expect roughly 70–100km on a charge in mid assist. Cold weather, high assist, heavy loads and headwinds all reduce it. The battery is removable, so a second battery is an easy way to extend a long day out.
How long does it take to charge?
4–5 hours from empty with the supplied 54.6V 4A fast charger. You can charge the battery on the bike or take it off and charge it indoors, which is the better option in an Irish winter — lithium cells charge best above 10°C.
Can I ride it in the rain?
Yes. Engwe rates the components individually: IPX7 wiring, IPX6 display and lights, IPX5 motor and controller, IPX4 battery box. That covers rain, puddles and road spray. It does not cover submerging the bike, pressure-washing it, or leaving it standing in water — dry it off and store it indoors and it will last a lot longer.
Am I the right height for it?
Engwe specifies a rider height of 163–193cm, with the saddle adjustable between 93cm and 103cm. The 48cm standover height is low for a bike with 26 × 3.0in wheels and full suspension, so stepping over the frame is easy. If you are near either end of that range, call into us in Ballymount and sit on one before you buy.
Does it fold, and how do I transport it?
No, the E26 3.0 Pro does not fold. It is 197cm long and 34kg with the battery in, so it needs a proper bike rack — a towbar-mounted platform rack rated for e-bike weight is the safe choice. Taking the 3.8kg battery out first brings it down to 30.2kg, which makes lifting it onto a rack considerably easier.
What warranty and aftersales do I get from Inner City Scooters?
Two years, with an optional one-year extension available. Every bike is built, safety-checked and test-ridden by our own workshop in Ballymount, Dublin 24 before it leaves us, and we service and repair what we sell in house — so you are not posting a 34kg bike back to a manufacturer if something needs attention. Delivery is free across Ireland, and we ship to the EU.
