Eahora electric bikes — FAQs

Are Eahora electric bikes road legal in Ireland?

Eahora bikes are limited to 25 km/h. EU pedelec rules also require pedal assist only and a motor of no more than 250W continuous, so the single-motor Juliet ridden in pedal-assist mode fits those rules, while throttle riding and the dual-motor Romeo models (2 x 250W) fall outside them. Ask us before riding on public roads and we will explain exactly where each model stands.

Can I buy an Eahora through the Cycle to Work Scheme?

The scheme covers up to €1,500 on e-bikes and €3,000 on cargo e-bikes, saving most riders 30–52%, but only for bikes that qualify as pedelecs. Talk to us before applying and we will confirm which Eahora model and setup your employer can accept.

Which Eahora is best for carrying loads?

The Romeo Pro II 2026 is the strongest all-rounder, with dual motors, 26" fat tyres and air suspension. The Romeo II gives you the same dual-wheel drive in a more compact bike, and the step-through Juliet is the easiest to get on and off when loaded.

How far will an Eahora go on one charge?

Eahora fits very large batteries, so these are among the longest-range bikes we sell. Real-world range depends on load, rider weight, terrain, weather and how much you pedal, and throttle-only riding uses far more battery. We will give you an honest estimate for your route in-store.

Where can I see an Eahora in Ireland?

At our Dublin showroom, Unit 19B, Fashion City, Dublin 24 (D24 YT68), where you can test ride the range.

Do you deliver Eahora bikes across Ireland?

Yes — we deliver across Ireland and the EU, with bikes sent boxed and needing only minimal home setup. In Dublin, we can also deliver your e-bike fully assembled and ready to ride as a paid option — just ask.
