Revvi 12″ Kids' Electric Balance Bike — Ages 2–6
The Revvi 12″ is a purpose-built electric balance bike for the youngest riders, aged 2 to 6 years. Built around a lightweight aluminium frame and weighing just 9 kg, it pairs a gentle 100W chain-driven motor and 24V 2.6Ah battery with two speed settings — a beginner mode at about 8 km/h and a faster mode at about 16 km/h. A clever freewheel system even lets it be used as a normal push balance bike, making it the ideal first electric bike. Available now at Inner City Scooters, Dublin, Ireland.
The ideal first electric balance bike
The Revvi 12″ is designed to grow with your little one. Start power-off as a traditional push balance bike to build core balance, then introduce the gentle 100W motor with an easy twist-and-go throttle and battery-level display. Two parent-selectable speeds let confidence build safely, while the lightweight 9 kg aluminium frame is easy for small children to handle.
Freewheel balance-bike mode
A specially designed freewheel rear wheel lets the Revvi 12″ be ridden as a conventional push balance bike before you introduce power — perfect for helping the youngest riders find their balance first.
Two gentle speed settings
A beginner mode at around 8 km/h and a faster mode at around 16 km/h let parents keep things gentle to start, then step up the pace as your child gains confidence.
Removable, protected battery
The 24V 2.6Ah battery is enclosed in the frame behind a bolted metal protection plate and lifts out for easy charging via the external port — a full charge takes about 2.5–3 hours.
Child-friendly rear drum brake
A rear drum brake with a dedicated kids' brake lever gives controlled, easy stopping power that's just right for little hands and first-time riders.
Lightweight & adjustable
At just 9 kg with a lightweight aluminium frame, it's easy to handle, and the aluminium handlebars adjust in height (20 mm range, in 10 mm steps) as your child grows.
Personalisation kit included
Every bike comes with a race number board plus name letters and numbers, so your young rider can make their first electric bike their own.

FAQ about the Revvi 12″ Kids' Electric Balance Bike
What age is the Revvi 12″ suitable for?
Revvi recommends the 12″ for children roughly 2–6 years old, with adult supervision at all times. It supports a maximum rider weight of 34 kg, and the adjustable handlebar height helps it grow with your child.
Can it be used as a normal balance bike?
Yes. The freewheel rear-wheel system lets the Revvi 12″ be ridden power-off like a conventional push balance bike — ideal for helping very young children develop balance before you introduce the motor.
Can it be ridden on the road in Ireland?
No. The Revvi 12″ is a powered kids' balance bike for off-road and private-land use under supervision only, not public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes. Always fit a helmet and supervise your child.
How fast does it go, and can I limit the speed?
It has two speed modes — a gentle beginner mode at about 8 km/h and a faster mode at about 16 km/h. We recommend starting in the slow mode and only moving up once your child is confident.
How long does it take to charge?
The removable 24V 2.6Ah battery charges in about 2.5–3 hours. The external charge port means you can charge it with the battery in or out of the bike.
Does it need assembly?
The Revvi 12″ arrives fully assembled apart from the handlebars, which take just a few minutes to fit using the included tools and manual. Our Dublin team can also set it up for you.
What warranty and support do you offer?
The Revvi 12″ comes with a 6-month parts warranty against manufacturing defects, plus after-sales support and Revvi spare parts from Inner City Scooters in Dublin. Please confirm current warranty terms with us at purchase.
Do you deliver across Ireland, and is finance available?
Yes — we ship across Ireland and the EU, usually within a few working days, and you're welcome to collect in Dublin. You can spread the cost with 0% finance options such as Klarna and humm at checkout, subject to approval.
