The Star 1 combines real go-anywhere fat-tyre capability with the convenience of a folding frame. The 500W motor and five pedal-assist levels make light work of hills and headwinds, the 48V 15Ah EVE battery keeps you rolling for up to 55 km, and when you're done it folds down compact for the car boot, hallway or under a desk.

For public-road use we recommend running it within those limits in pedal-assist, and treating higher-power or throttle riding as private-land use. How compact is it when folded?
