Is the Pixar C1 Pro road-legal in Ireland?
Yes. With a 250W motor and pedal assistance that cuts off at 25 km/h, the C1 Pro meets the EU pedelec (EPAC) standard, so in pedal-assist it's treated like a regular bicycle in Ireland — no tax, insurance or licence required. A throttle is supplied as a separate accessory; for full pedelec compliance ride in pedal-assist. We recommend always wearing a helmet and using lights at night.
What range can I really expect?
The 36V 18Ah EVE battery gives a claimed range of 55–65 km. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, assist level and weather — cold conditions in particular can reduce it — so expect a practical figure toward the lower end at times. A full charge takes about 7.5 hours.
