Is the KuKirin M4 Max road-legal in Ireland?
No. Under Ireland's 2024 e-scooter rules, only e-scooters limited to 400 W and 20 km/h may be used on public roads. With an 800 W motor and a 45 km/h top speed, the M4 Max is above those limits, so it is intended for use on private land only. Please ride responsibly and check current local regulations.
What is the real-world range?
The M4 Max is rated at up to 64 km in ideal conditions. In real-world Irish riding — accounting for hills, rider weight, temperature and speed — expect roughly 55–60 km per charge.
How long does it take to charge?
A full charge takes approximately 9–10 hours from empty using the supplied charger. Many riders top up overnight.
Does it come with a seat?
Yes — the M4 Max includes a detachable seat, so you can ride seated for longer journeys or remove it for a classic stand-up scooter setup.
Can I ride it in the rain?
The M4 Max carries an IP54 splash-resistance rating, so it handles light rain and splashes. It is not designed to be submerged or ridden through deep water — dry it down after wet rides.
