Powered by a responsive rear hub motor, the A20 puts power straight to the back wheel for instant, near-silent acceleration with minimal maintenance. Two ride modes let you match the bike to your child's ability — start gentle in Eco, then unlock Boost as their skills grow. A safety brake cut-out, twin disc brakes and front suspension keep everything controlled and predictable along the way.
Integrated rear hub motor
The sealed rear hub motor delivers power instantly with little drag and almost no noise, plus around 28 N·m of torque for confident pull-away. It's designed to need very little maintenance, so there's more time for riding and less time in the shed.
Front & rear disc brakes
Mechanical disc brakes front and rear give strong, reliable stopping power that's well matched to a powered kids' bike — far more reassuring than the simple brakes found on ordinary ride-on toys.
Two speed settings

Is the Amped A20 legal to ride on roads in Ireland?
No. The A20 is a powered, throttle-driven kids' electric balance bike intended for off-road and private-land use only. It is not a pedelec (it isn't limited to 250W / 25 km/h pedal-assist), so it shouldn't be ridden on public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes in Ireland. Use it on private property or suitable off-road areas, with adult supervision.
What age and size is the A20 suitable for?
It's broadly aimed at riders of roughly 7 years and up, but fit matters more than age. The seat height is about 65–75 cm and we recommend an inside-leg measurement of 60–85 cm so your child can comfortably reach the ground. Maximum rider weight is approximately 35 kg. Always size by measurement and ability.
How fast does the Amped A20 go?
It has two ride modes. Eco keeps the speed gentle and limited while your child builds confidence, and Boost increases the pace for more capable riders, with a top speed of up to around 24 km/h. We recommend starting in Eco and only moving to Boost once the rider is comfortable and well supervised.
How long does the battery last and how long to charge?
The removable 36V 5.0Ah lithium battery typically gives around 45–60 minutes of ride time per charge, depending on rider weight, terrain and which mode you use. A full charge takes roughly 2–3 hours. Because the battery is quick-release, you can charge it indoors or keep a spare ready to swap.
Does it need assembly?
