Stark Varg MX 1.2 Electric Dirt Bike — Used
The Stark Varg MX 1.2 is a revolutionary electric motocross bike that has redrawn the rules on performance, power and sustainability — and this is a genuine used example, in Stark Red, ready to ride now from Inner City Scooters in Ireland. With fully adjustable power up to 80HP, a peak 978Nm of torque at the rear wheel, instant electric drive and a near-silent, zero-emissions ride, the Varg out-muscles a 450cc four-stroke while weighing just 118kg. It is power without compromise — delivered across Dublin, Ireland and the EU.
Fully adjustable power, from novice to 80HP
The Varg's carbon-fibre-sleeved 360V motor lets you dial power anywhere from 10HP to 80HP in real time from the handlebar — no re-jetting, no gearing changes. Standard maps deliver 60HP while the Alpha configuration unlocks the full 80HP.
Peak 978Nm of torque at the rear wheel puts more drive to the ground than a 450cc four-stroke, with instant throttle response and no clutch or gears to manage. Customisable riding modes make it endlessly adaptable — one bike, tuned to any track, any rider, any terrain.
A 7.2kWh battery that is the frame
The Varg's 7.2kWh battery sits inside a patented magnesium honeycomb case that doubles as a structural member of the chassis — saving weight while adding rigidity. It delivers around 20% more range than the previous model and up to 6 hours of ride time depending on mode, then recharges in roughly 1–2 hours. And because it is electric, there is no oil, no filters and no top-end rebuilds — just charge and ride, in near silence and with zero emissions.
Arkenstone smart cockpit
An Android smartphone mounts to the handlebar as your dashboard, running Stark's Arkenstone app with LAPS GPS live lap timing, ride maps, customisable power curves and adjustable engine braking — reconfigure the whole bike between motos.
KYB race suspension
A KYB inverted front fork and twin-sided swingarm rear soak up jumps and braking bumps. Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear give consistent, fade-free stopping power lap after lap.
Traction control & regen
Selectable traction control keeps the rear hooked up on loose surfaces, while regenerative motor braking and adjustable engine braking let you tune corner entry to your style.
Race-bred pedigree
Developed under two-time world champion Sebastien Tortelli and built by Stark Future in Barcelona, the Varg is a proven, championship-winning platform — not a prototype.
Cockpit built for control
Wide motocross handlebars, ride-by-wire twist throttle and hydraulic controls put the Varg's full performance envelope at your fingertips. There is no gear lever and no clutch to think about — just point, twist and go, with power delivery you set in the app.

FAQ about the Stark Varg MX 1.2
Is the Stark Varg MX 1.2 road legal in Ireland?
No. The Varg MX 1.2 is a closed-course / off-road motocross machine and is not road legal in Ireland. It is designed for private land, motocross tracks and off-road use only, and cannot be taxed, insured or ridden on public roads.
How much power and torque does it have?
Power is fully adjustable from 10HP to 80HP in real time from the handlebar, with a Standard 60HP map and an Alpha 80HP configuration. Peak torque is 978Nm at the rear wheel — more pulling power than a 450cc four-stroke.
How long does the battery last on a charge?
The 7.2kWh structural battery gives up to 6 hours of ride time depending on the power mode and how hard you ride — around 20% more than the previous model. Casual trail riding lasts far longer than full-power motocross sessions.
How long does it take to charge?
Roughly 1–2 hours from a standard charger, with a fast-charge option available. That means you can top up between motos or over a lunch break at the track.
What maintenance does an electric dirt bike need?
Far less than a petrol motocross bike. There is no oil to change, no air or oil filters, and no top-end rebuilds. Upkeep is mainly tyres, brake pads, chain and suspension servicing — saving both time and running costs.
