Revvi 16″ XL Kids' Electric Bike — Ages 6+
The Revvi 16″ XL is a bigger, more powerful step up in the Revvi balance-bike range, built for confident young riders aged 6 and over. A 24V 600W brushless hub motor and a 24V 5.0Ah lithium battery deliver real performance, with three speed modes — 15, 22 and 28 km/h so parents can match the pace to a child's ability and unlock more as confidence grows. Light at just 17.4 kg, with full suspension and hydraulic disc brakes. Available now at Inner City Scooters, Dublin, Ireland.
A bigger, faster Revvi for growing riders
The Revvi 16″ XL gives confident young riders more power and a taller frame to grow into. The three-mode speed limiter lets you start gentle at 15 km/h and step up to 22 and 28 km/h as skills improve, while a twist-and-go throttle keeps children in control. With front and rear suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and aggressive 16″ knobbly tyres, it stays planted and controlled on dirt, grass and gravel — and at just 17.4 kg it's easy for kids to handle and parents to lift.
600W brushless motor
A high-efficiency 24V 600W brushless hub motor gives the XL noticeably more pull than the standard 16″, for stronger acceleration and climbing across all three speed settings.
Three speed settings
Choose 15 km/h (9.3 mph), 22 km/h (13.5 mph) or 28 km/h (17.5 mph). Parents can set a lower limit for newer riders and unlock more pace as confidence grows — start in the slow mode.
Front & rear suspension
Suspension forks at the front and a coil shock at the rear smooth out bumps and rough ground for a more controlled, comfortable ride.
Hydraulic disc brakes
Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes give strong, reliable, all-weather stopping power to match the bike's extra performance.
16″ knobbly tyres & alloy frame
Aggressive 16″ knobbly pneumatic tyres on spoked rims grip every surface, around a lightweight, durable aluminium-alloy frame weighing just 17.4 kg.
Number & name board kit
Every bike includes a race number and name board kit, so your young rider can personalise their Revvi with their own number and name for that real race-bike feel.

FAQ about the Revvi 16″ XL Kids' Electric Bike
What age is the Revvi 16″ XL suitable for?
Revvi recommends the 16″ XL for children roughly 6 years and over, though fit depends on your child's height and confidence. It supports a maximum rider weight of 70 kg. Our Dublin team is happy to help you choose the right size.
Can it be ridden on the road in Ireland?
No. With a 600W motor and a 28 km/h top speed, the Revvi 16″ XL is a powered kids' bike for off-road and private-land use only — it is not road legal and must not be used on public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes. Always supervise your child and have them wear a helmet and protective gear.
How fast does it go, and can I limit the speed?
It has three speed modes: 15 km/h (9.3 mph), 22 km/h (13.5 mph) and 28 km/h (17.5 mph). Parents can set the limit to match a child's ability and increase it as confidence grows. We recommend starting in the slow mode.
What is the range, and how long does it take to charge?
Ride time is roughly 1h 10m in slow mode, about 45m in medium and around 35m in fast mode — very roughly 16–17 km depending on rider weight, terrain and speed. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours 50 minutes.
Can it be ridden in the rain?
It can handle damp ground and the occasional shower, but like any electric bike it should not be ridden through heavy rain, deep puddles or standing water. Wipe it down and store it dry after wet rides to protect the motor and electronics.
How heavy is it, and does it need assembly?
The Revvi 16″ XL weighs about 17.4 kg and arrives largely assembled with only minor setup before the first ride. If you'd prefer, our Dublin workshop can check it over and get it ready for you — just ask.
What warranty and support do you offer?
The Revvi 16″ XL comes with a standard manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects, plus after-sales support and Revvi spare parts from Inner City Scooters in Dublin. Please confirm current warranty terms with us at purchase.
Do you deliver across Ireland, and is finance available?
Yes — we ship nationwide across Ireland, usually within a few working days, and you're welcome to collect in Dublin. You can also add fully-assembled delivery, and spread the cost with 0% finance options such as Klarna and humm at checkout, subject to approval.
