The Revvi 16″ electric balance bike is the ideal first electric bike for young riders, blending fun, safety and real performance. A 24V 250W brushless motor and a removable 24V 5.2Ah lithium battery deliver up to 1 hour 25 minutes of riding, and the free-wheel rear hub means it can also be ridden power-off as a traditional balance bike. A confident first step into electric riding
The Revvi 16″ is designed to grow with your child. The three-mode speed limiter lets you start gently at 8 mph and step up to 10 and 12 mph as skills improve, while an easy twist-and-go throttle with a battery-level display keeps young riders in control. A lightweight aluminium alloy frame, aggressive knobbly 16″ pneumatic tyres and a child-friendly rear drum brake make it as safe as it is fun — and with the free-wheel rear hub it can be ridden power-off as a normal balance bike whenever you like.
Revvi is one of the world’s best-known kids’ electric balance bike brands, and Inner City Scooters stocks the range in Ireland. We keep Revvi bikes and Revvi spare parts at our Ballymount showroom in Dublin 24 — so service, tyres, chargers and upgrades are all local.

Key features of the Revvi 16″
Three speed settings
Choose 8 mph (slow), 10 mph (medium) or 12 mph (fast). Parents match the speed to a child’s confidence, then unlock more pace as they progress.
Removable 24V battery
The easy-change 24V 5.2Ah lithium battery keeps the bike light and lets you charge indoors or swap in a spare for longer play sessions. A full charge takes about 5.5–6 hours.
Child-friendly rear drum brake
A specially designed rear drum brake gives reliable, progressive stopping power suited to little hands — safe and predictable for new riders, and sealed against dirt and water.
Lightweight aluminium frame
At just 11 kg the Revvi 16″ is easy for children to handle and for parents to lift, carry and load into a car — without sacrificing durability.
Free-wheel balance-bike mode
Thanks to its free-wheel rear system the Revvi can be ridden power-off like a conventional balance bike — ideal for building core balance before the motor comes into play.
Number & name board kit
Every bike includes a race number and name board kit — board, cover graphic, letter and number sheets and fixing bolt — so young riders can personalise their Revvi.

FAQ about the Revvi 16″ Kids’ Electric Balance Bike
What age is the Revvi 16″ suitable for?
Revvi recommends the 16″ for children roughly 5–8 years old, though fit depends on your child’s height and confidence. The seat adjusts between about 43 cm and 50 cm and the maximum permitted rider weight is 40 kg. Our Dublin team is happy to size your child in the showroom before you buy.
Can it be ridden on the road in Ireland?
No. The Revvi 16″ is a powered kids’ bike intended for off-road and private-land use only — not public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes. Always supervise your child and have them wear a helmet and suitable protective gear.
How fast does it go, and can I limit the speed?
Yes — it has three speed modes: 8 mph (slow), 10 mph (medium) and 12 mph (fast), roughly 13, 16 and 19 km/h. Parents can set the limit to match a child’s ability and increase it as confidence grows. We recommend starting in slow mode.
How long does it run, and how long does it take to charge?
Ride time is roughly 1h 25min in slow mode, about 1h 05min in medium and around 50min in fast mode, depending on rider weight, terrain and how much throttle is used. A full charge of the removable 24V 5.2Ah battery takes about 5.5–6 hours.
Can it be used as a normal balance bike?
Yes. Thanks to its free-wheel rear system the Revvi can be ridden power-off just like a conventional balance bike, which is ideal for helping younger children develop balance before using the motor.
Can it be ridden in the rain or on wet grass?
The Revvi 16″ has no published IP rating, so treat it as shower-resistant rather than waterproof. Light damp and wet grass are fine; avoid deep puddles, jet washing and leaving it out in heavy rain, and dry it off afterwards. The sealed rear drum brake copes well with wet and mud.
Does it need assembly?
The Revvi arrives largely assembled with only minor setup before the first ride. If you would prefer, our Dublin workshop can build it, charge it and check it over so it is ready to ride — just ask when ordering.
What warranty and after-sales support do you get?
The Revvi 16″ carries Revvi’s 6-month manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects. Inner City Scooters stocks Revvi in Ireland, so servicing, chargers, tyres and other Revvi spares are available from our Dublin 24 workshop.
Do you deliver across Ireland, and can I pay in instalments?
Yes — we ship nationwide across Ireland, usually within a few working days, and you are welcome to collect in Ballymount, Dublin 24. You can spread the cost at checkout with finance options such as Klarna and humm, subject to approval.
Which Revvi size should I buy next as my child grows?
Most riders move from the Revvi 12″ to the 16″, then on to the 16″ Plus, 18″ and 20″. You can see the whole line-up in our Revvi collection.
