Same friendly 8, 10 and 12 mph speed settings and the same 24V 5.2Ah removable battery, but with a brushless motor, a fast-start control unit, front suspension forks, a rear disc brake, metal spoked wheels, an anodised handlebar and seat clamp and a handlebar pad. Everything the 16″ does, done better
The Plus keeps what makes the standard Revvi 16″ such a good first electric bike — the same three gentle speed settings, the same 24V 5.2Ah removable battery, the same free-wheel balance-bike mode — and upgrades almost everything around it. A brushless motor replaces the brushed one for more torque and a longer life, a fast-start control unit makes pull-away smoother and quicker, and a rear disc brake takes over from the drum.
On top of that: front suspension forks, metal spoked wheels instead of composite rims, a handlebar pad, an anodised handlebar and seat clamp, and a pro throttle with a battery-level indicator. Front suspension forks
Suspension at the front absorbs bumps, roots and kerbs for a smoother, more controlled ride — and takes a lot of the jolting out of rough grass.
Rear disc brake
A rear disc replaces the standard bike’s drum — stronger, more consistent stopping power that shrugs off wet and mud, with a short-reach lever for small hands.
Brushless motor & fast-start unit
A 24V 250W brushless motor gives more torque and a longer service life, and the fast-start control unit makes pulling away smoother and quicker off the mark.
Metal spoked wheels
Metal spoked 16″ rims in place of composite — stronger, more durable on tougher terrain, and rebuildable rather than disposable.
Pro throttle & 24V 5.2Ah battery
A pro throttle with a battery-level indicator and smooth power delivery, feeding from a removable 24V 5.2Ah pack. A full charge takes about 5.5–6 hours.
Finishing touches
Handlebar pad, anodised handlebar clamp and seat clamp, and a race number and name board kit in the box so your rider can personalise the bike.

Size, fit and dimensions
The Revvi 16″ Plus suits riders from about 5 years and up. It measures 79 cm long and 73–75 cm tall, with 14 cm of ground clearance and a seat that adjusts between 44 cm and 53 cm. Maximum permitted rider weight is 40 kg. If your child is smaller, the Revvi 12″ and standard Revvi 16″ are the steps below; the Revvi 16″ XL and Revvi 18″ are the steps above. What is the difference between the Revvi 16″ and the 16″ Plus?
The Plus has the same speeds, battery and wheel size, but adds a brushless motor, a fast-start control unit, front suspension forks, a rear disc brake instead of a drum, metal spoked wheels instead of composite rims, a handlebar pad and anodised bar and seat clamps. It is 12 kg versus 11 kg.
What age is the Revvi 16″ Plus suitable for?
Revvi rates it for riders aged roughly 5 and up, though fit depends on height and confidence. The seat adjusts between 44 cm and 53 cm and the maximum permitted rider weight is 40 kg. Our Dublin team can size your child in the showroom before you buy.
Can it be ridden on the road in Ireland?
No. The Revvi 16″ Plus is a powered kids’ bike intended for off-road and private-land use only — not public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes. Always supervise your child and have them wear a helmet and suitable protective gear.
How fast does it go, and can I limit the speed?
It has three speed settings — 8 mph (slow), 10 mph (medium) and 12 mph (fast), roughly 13, 16 and 19 km/h. Parents can hold the bike at the lower settings and raise the limit as confidence grows.
How long does it run, and how long does it take to charge?
Roughly 1 hour 25 minutes in slow mode, about 1 hour 5 minutes in medium and around 50 minutes in fast mode, depending on rider weight and terrain. A full charge of the removable 24V 5.2Ah battery takes about 5.5–6 hours.
Can it be used as a normal balance bike?
Yes. Like the standard 16″, the Plus free-wheels with the power off, so it can be ridden as a conventional balance bike while your child is still building balance.
Can it be ridden in the rain or on wet grass?
There is no published IP rating, so treat it as shower-resistant rather than waterproof. Damp and wet grass are fine; avoid deep puddles, jet washing and leaving it out in heavy rain, and dry it off afterwards. The rear disc copes well with wet and mud.
Does it need assembly?
The Revvi 16″ Plus arrives largely assembled with only minor setup before the first ride. Our Dublin workshop can build it, charge it and check it over so it is ready to ride — just ask when ordering.
What warranty and after-sales support do you get?
The Revvi 16″ Plus carries Revvi’s 6-month manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects. Inner City Scooters stocks Revvi in Ireland, so servicing, chargers, tyres and other Revvi spares are available from our Dublin 24 workshop.
Do you deliver across Ireland, and can I pay in instalments?
Yes — we ship nationwide across Ireland, usually within a few working days, and you are welcome to collect in Ballymount, Dublin 24. You can spread the cost at checkout with finance options such as Klarna and humm, subject to approval.
