Revvi 12″ Kids’ Electric Balance Bike — Ages 2–6
The Revvi 12″ electric balance bike is where it all starts — the smallest, lightest bike Revvi makes, built for riders as young as two. At just 9 kg with a 24V 100W motor and a removable 24V 2.6Ah lithium battery, it gives toddlers and small children their first taste of powered riding with two parent-selectable speeds: 5 mph and 10 mph. Up to 1 hour 15 minutes of riding, a child-friendly rear drum brake and a low 36 cm seat make it as approachable as it is fun. A first electric bike for very small riders
The Revvi 12″ is designed around toddlers and pre-schoolers. The seat drops to 36 cm, the whole bike weighs 9 kg and the two-mode speed limiter lets you start at a walking-pace 5 mph before unlocking 10 mph when your child is ready. A twist-and-go throttle gives a real motorbike feel with progressive power delivery, and a child-friendly rear drum brake means small hands can stop easily.
It runs a proper chain drive, aggressive knobbly 12″ pneumatic tyres and a lightweight aluminium alloy frame — the same build quality as the bigger Revvis, scaled down. Inner City Scooters stocks the Revvi range and Revvi spares at our Ballymount showroom in Dublin 24, so servicing, tyres and chargers are all local.

Key features of the Revvi 12″
Two speed settings
Switch between 5 mph (slow) and 10 mph (fast) — about 8 and 16 km/h. Start slow while your child finds their balance, then unlock more pace.
Removable 24V battery
The easy-change 24V 2.6Ah lithium battery keeps the bike light and lets you charge indoors or swap in a spare for longer play. A full charge takes about 2.5–3 hours.
Child-friendly rear drum brake
A sealed rear drum brake gives reliable, progressive stopping power suited to very small hands — safe and predictable, and unaffected by wet and mud.
Just 9 kg
Light enough for a toddler to pick up and for a parent to carry one-handed — and small enough to fit in a car boot without taking anything apart.
Twist-and-go throttle
A real motorcycle-style twist throttle with progressive power delivery, so the bike pulls away smoothly rather than snatching.
Number & name board kit
Every bike includes a race number and name board kit — board, cover graphic, letter and number sheets and fixing bolt — so young riders can personalise their Revvi.

FAQ about the Revvi 12″ Kids’ Electric Balance Bike
What age is the Revvi 12″ suitable for?
Revvi recommends the 12″ for children roughly 2–6 years old, though fit depends on your child’s height and confidence. The seat adjusts between 36 cm and 39.5 cm and the maximum permitted rider weight is 30 kg. Our Dublin team is happy to size your child in the showroom before you buy.
Is it too fast for a two-year-old?
No — that is what the two speed modes are for. In slow mode the bike is limited to 5 mph, about walking-jog pace, which suits a first-time rider. Once your child is confident you can unlock 10 mph.
Can it be ridden on the road in Ireland?
No. The Revvi 12″ is a powered kids’ bike intended for off-road and private-land use only — not public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes. Always supervise your child and have them wear a helmet and suitable protective gear.
How long does it run, and how long does it take to charge?
Ride time is roughly 1 hour 15 minutes in slow mode and around 40 minutes in fast mode, depending on rider weight, terrain and how much throttle is used. A full charge of the removable 24V 2.6Ah battery takes about 2.5–3 hours.
Does my child need to be able to pedal or balance first?
No pedalling is involved — it is a balance bike with a throttle. Most children pick it up quickly in slow mode with a parent steadying them. The low 36 cm seat means small riders can get both feet flat on the ground.
Can it be ridden in the rain or on wet grass?
The Revvi 12″ has no published IP rating, so treat it as shower-resistant rather than waterproof. Light damp and wet grass are fine; avoid deep puddles, jet washing and leaving it out in heavy rain, and dry it off afterwards. The sealed rear drum brake copes well with wet and mud.
Does it need assembly?
The Revvi 12″ arrives largely assembled with only minor setup before the first ride. If you would prefer, our Dublin workshop can build it, charge it and check it over so it is ready to ride — just ask when ordering.
What warranty and after-sales support do you get?
The Revvi 12″ carries Revvi’s 6-month manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects. Inner City Scooters stocks Revvi in Ireland, so servicing and Revvi spares are available from our Dublin 24 workshop.
Do you deliver across Ireland, and can I pay in instalments?
Yes — we ship nationwide across Ireland, usually within a few working days, and you are welcome to collect in Ballymount, Dublin 24. You can spread the cost at checkout with finance options such as Klarna and humm, subject to approval.
Which Revvi should we buy next as my child grows?
Most riders move from the 12″ to the Revvi 16″, then on to the 16″ Plus and 18″. You can see the whole line-up in our Revvi collection.
