Sur-Ron Ultra Bee (2025) — Electric Off-Road Bike
The 2025 Sur-Ron Ultra Bee is a full-size electric off-road bike built around a forged-aluminium frame, a 74V 55Ah battery and a high-output mid-drive motor producing up to 21 kW peak power and 440 N·m of torque at the wheel. Engineered for aggressive trail and enduro riding, it pairs instant electric drive and Sur-Ron's traction control with long-travel suspension for serious control on rough terrain. Lightweight, durable and trail-ready, the Ultra Bee is available now at Inner City Scooters, Dublin, Ireland.
Full-size electric off-road performance
The Ultra Bee steps up to genuine dirt-bike capability. Its mid-drive motor delivers up to 21 kW of peak power (18 kW in Sport mode, 12.5 kW rated) and up to 440 N·m at the wheel, for a 0–50 km/h sprint of just 2.3 seconds and a top speed of over 90 km/h. Eco, Daily, Sport and Reverse modes plus Sur-Ron's traction control (SRTC) and energy regeneration (BERS) keep all that drive usable, while the forged-aluminium frame and 240 mm of suspension travel soak up the roughest terrain.
Up to 21 kW peak power
A permanent-magnet synchronous (PMSM) mid-drive motor with FOC sinewave controller is rated at 12.5 kW and delivers up to 21 kW of peak power and 440 N·m at the wheel, launching the Ultra Bee from 0–50 km/h in just 2.3 seconds to a top speed of over 90 km/h.
74V 55Ah battery
The high-performance 74V 55Ah lithium-ion pack gives serious range — up to around 100 km at a steady 50 km/h — and recharges fully in about 4.5 hours, ready for the next session.
Multiple ride modes
Eco, Daily, Sport and Reverse modes plus an adjustable throttle curve let you tune the Ultra Bee to the terrain and your skill level, from gentle trail cruising to full-attack riding.
SRTC traction & BERS regen
Sur-Ron's Traction Control System (SRTC) keeps power planted on loose surfaces, while the BERS energy regeneration system recovers energy and adds controlled engine braking on descents.
Long-travel suspension
A high-spec front fork and the self-developed INTERSECT TR rear suspension with hydraulic damping provide 240 mm of wheel travel, soaking up jumps, ruts and rocks for confident control at speed.
Hydraulic disc brakes
Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes deliver strong, repeatable stopping power to match the Ultra Bee's serious performance on demanding off-road terrain.

FAQ about the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee
Is the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee road-legal in Ireland?
No. The Ultra Bee is a high-performance electric off-road bike supplied for off-road and private-land use only. It is not type-approved, taxed or registered for public roads, so it must not be ridden on public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes in Ireland. Ride only on private land or sanctioned off-road areas with the landowner's permission.
How fast and how powerful is it?
The mid-drive motor is rated at 12.5 kW and produces up to 21 kW of peak power (18 kW in Sport mode) and up to 440 N·m at the wheel, sprints 0–50 km/h in about 2.3 seconds and tops out at over 90 km/h. Eco and Daily modes keep it manageable; Sport mode unlocks the full performance.
What range and charge time can I expect?
The 74V 55Ah battery delivers up to around 100 km at a constant 50 km/h. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, temperature and how hard you ride, so expect less when riding aggressively off-road. A full charge takes about 4.5 hours.
What suspension and brakes does it have?
It runs a high-spec front fork and the self-developed INTERSECT TR rear suspension with hydraulic damping (240 mm wheel travel), plus front & rear hydraulic disc brakes with BERS energy regeneration — serious kit for demanding off-road terrain.
What tyres and wheels does it use?
The Ultra Bee comes with all-terrain tyres — 90/90-19 at the front and 120/80-18 on an 18″ widened rear wheelset — for strong grip and stability on loose and uneven ground. An optional off-road wheelset is available for full off-road use.
Who is the Ultra Bee suitable for?
With its size, power and 910 mm seat height, the Ultra Bee suits taller, confident riders up to a 100 kg rider weight. Newer riders can build up using Eco and Daily modes, but it is a genuinely fast machine — always wear full protective gear.
What warranty and support do you offer?
The Ultra Bee comes with a manufacturer warranty against defects, plus after-sales support, spares and servicing from Inner City Scooters in Dublin. Please confirm current warranty terms with us at the time of purchase.
