FAQ about the Fiido Titan Fat-Tyre Touring Electric Bike
Is the Fiido Titan road-legal in Ireland?
Yes, when supplied in EU pedelec mode and ridden in pedal-assist. With a 250 W nominal motor and assistance that cuts off at 25 km/h, it meets the EU pedelec (EPAC) standard and is treated like a bicycle — no tax, insurance or licence needed. Set to a higher-power or unlocked mode it becomes private-land only. Throttle use on public roads is a legal grey area, so we recommend pedal-assist on the road.
What range can I really expect?
Up to 115 km from a single 696 Wh battery, and up to around 400 km with the optional triple-battery setup. Real-world range depends on rider and cargo weight, terrain, tyre pressure, wind, temperature and assist level — fat tyres and heavy loads will bring the figure down.
How long does the battery take to charge?
Around 7–8 hours for a full charge per battery. Each 696 Wh battery is removable, so you can charge it indoors and rotate batteries on long tours.
How much can the Titan carry?
The Titan has a 200 kg maximum payload and an integrated rear rack rated for serious loads, making it suitable for a passenger, cargo or both.
Will it handle rough terrain and wet Irish weather?
Yes. The 26 × 4.0″ fat tyres, front suspension fork and 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes are built for gravel, mud, sand and wet roads. The bike is rated IP54, the display IP68 and the torque sensor IP67, so everyday rain and puddles are no problem — just avoid submerging it.
What rider heights does it fit?
The step-through frame suits riders from roughly 152 cm to 205 cm (5'0" to 6'9"). At around 37.6 kg with a single battery it's a heavy bike, so the low step-through helps when mounting and manoeuvring.
How long is delivery and is it free?
We deliver across Ireland and the EU, typically within 3–5 working days for in-stock items. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. Contact us if you need a delivery estimate for your area.
What warranty and servicing do I get?
The Fiido Titan comes with a 12-month warranty. We're based in Dublin and can help with servicing, spares and support — just get in touch with Inner City Scooters.
