Is the Fiido Nomads road-legal in Ireland?
Yes. It's a true pedelec with a 250 W motor, pedal-assist only (no throttle) and assistance that cuts off at 25 km/h, so it meets the EU pedelec (EPAC) standard and is treated like a bicycle in Ireland — no tax, insurance or licence needed. It's also eligible for the Bike to Work Scheme.
What range can I really expect?

How long does the battery take to charge?
Around 7–8 hours for a full charge. The battery is removable with a dual-latch security system, so you can lift it out and charge it indoors.

Yes. The Nomads supports a modular triple-battery system that extends range up to 238 km, with weatherproof battery bags included — ideal for long tours.
Will it handle rough trails and wet Irish weather?
Yes. The 29″ × 2.1″ CST hybrid tyres, 120 mm oil-spring fork and Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic disc brakes handle road, gravel and trail, and the IP54 rating shrugs off rain and splashes. Avoid fully submerging it.
