Is the Fiido C11 road-legal in Ireland?
Yes, when ridden in pedal-assist mode. With a 250 W nominal motor and assistance that cuts off at 25 km/h, it meets the EU pedelec (EPAC) standard and is treated like a bicycle — no tax, insurance or licence needed. Throttle-only riding on public roads is a grey area, so we recommend pedal-assist on the road.
What range can I really expect?
Up to 90 km in pedal assist and around 55 km on throttle. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, wind, temperature and assist level — expect figures toward the lower end on hilly routes or in cold weather.
How long does the battery take to charge?
Around 6–8 hours for a full charge. The 499.2 Wh battery is removable, so you can lift it out and charge it indoors or at the office.
Will it handle rain and wet Irish roads?
The C11 carries an IP54 rating, so it withstands everyday rain and road spray. As with any e-bike, avoid submerging it or jet-washing it, and store it somewhere dry.
What rider heights does it fit?
The step-through frame and adjustable handlebar suit riders from roughly 150 cm to 200 cm (4'11" to 6'7"), with a maximum load of 120 kg.
Does it fold for storage?
No — the C11 is a full-size city bike with a rigid aluminium frame. It weighs about 24.5 kg. If you specifically need a folding model, ask us and we'll point you to a suitable alternative.
