Color: Carbon Black

The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee 2025 is the brand's full-size electric dirt bike, built around a 21.5kW peak mid-drive PMSM motor delivering up to 511Nm of torque at the rear wheel and a top speed of 95km/h. Power is managed by an MTPA/MTPV controller with a three-stage adjustable throttle curve, and the bike accelerates from 0 to 50km/h in 2.0 seconds. Five riding modes — Eco, Daily, Sport, Crawl and Reverse — plus Turbo let you match delivery to the terrain, from low-speed technical trails to full open-throttle running.

The 74V 60Ah lithium-ion battery pack (4.44kWh) returns a WMTC range of 115km at 50km/h and recharges from 20 to 80 percent in 2.5 hours on the supplied 1kW charger. Suspension is genuine motocross specification: a 37mm inverted front fork with adjustable compression and rebound and a TR Intersect rear monoshock with adjustable preload, compression and rebound, both offering 240mm of travel. Hydraulic disc brakes with 240mm rotors sit at both ends, and the forged aluminium alloy frame keeps curb weight to 88.5kg with 315mm of ground clearance and a 910mm seat height.

SRTC traction control, BERS regenerative braking, Sur-Ron Wheelie Control, auto hold and gyroscopic tilt protection come as standard, backed by an LCD display and full LED lighting. Available in Carbon Black and Desert Brown, the Ultra Bee is supplied as an off-road machine; the road-legal L3e variant is homologated separately.

Full-size motocross performance, electric

The Ultra Bee is a proper full-size dirt bike, not a scaled-down light electric vehicle. The mid-drive HairPin-winding permanent magnet synchronous motor is managed by Sur-Ron's own MTPA/MTPV field-oriented controller, which holds power flat across the working rev range instead of tailing off. Peak output is 21.5kW, rising to 24.5kW in Turbo, with 511Nm at the rear wheel. That is enough for 0–50km/h in 2.0 seconds and a 95km/h top speed. A three-stage adjustable throttle curve lets you soften or sharpen the initial bite to suit grip levels.

More to love

21.5kW peak, 511Nm

A mid-drive HairPin-winding PMSM motor with MTPA/MTPV field-oriented control delivers 21.5kW peak, 24.5kW in Turbo and 18kW continuous in Sport, with 511Nm at the wheel and a 95km/h top speed.

74V 60Ah battery

The 4440Wh lithium-ion pack gives up to 115km at a steady 50km/h — roughly 137km ridden gently, 97km mixed and 64km flat out. The 1kW charger takes it from 20% to 80% in about 2.5 hours.

Five modes plus Turbo

Eco, Daily, Sport, Crawl and Reverse, with Turbo on top. Crawl walks you through technical sections, Reverse gets you out of ruts, and the three-stage throttle curve tunes how sharply power arrives.

SRTC traction control

Multi-level Sur-Ron traction control manages rear wheel slip on loose and wet ground and can be adjusted on the move. SWC wheelie control and gyroscopic tilt protection back it up.

240mm travel, both ends

A 37mm inverted fork with independent compression and rebound adjustment pairs with the TR Intersect rear monoshock, adjustable for preload, compression and rebound. 240mm of travel front and rear.

240mm hydraulic discs

Four-piston hydraulic calipers on 240mm rotors front and rear, with 90% more caliper rigidity than the previous generation for a firm lever and confident one-finger control.

BERS energy recovery

Sur-Ron's Braking Energy Recovery System feeds charge back to the pack under deceleration and gives you adjustable engine-braking feel, which helps enormously on long descents.

Forged aluminium chassis

A forged aluminium alloy frame keeps curb weight to 88.5kg with 315mm of ground clearance, a 1380mm wheelbase and a 910mm seat height — full-size dirt bike geometry.

Two colours

Riding it in Ireland: the Ultra Bee 2025 as supplied here is an off-road competition machine. It is not type-approved for Irish public roads, so it cannot be registered, taxed or insured for road use — ride it on private land or sanctioned off-road tracks, with the landowner's permission. Sur-Ron does build a separately homologated L3e road-legal version of the Ultra Bee; talk to us if that is what you need. A helmet and proper off-road protective gear are strongly recommended at all times, and riders should build up through Eco and Daily modes before using Sport or Turbo.

FAQ about the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee 2025 21.5kW

Is the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee 2025 road legal in Ireland?

No. This is the off-road version, which is not type-approved and does not come with an EU Certificate of Conformity, so it cannot be registered, taxed or insured for Irish public roads. It is intended for private land and sanctioned off-road tracks, ridden with the landowner's permission. Sur-Ron does produce a separately homologated L3e road-legal Ultra Bee — contact us in Dublin if that is the version you need.

How powerful is it, and how fast does it go?

The mid-drive HairPin PMSM motor produces 21500W of peak power, rising to 24500W in Turbo mode, with 18000W continuous in Sport. Torque at the rear wheel is 511Nm. Top speed is 95km/h and 0–50km/h takes 2.0 seconds. Eco, Daily and Crawl modes reduce output for range, control and technical sections.

What range and charging time can I expect?

The 74V 60Ah (4440Wh) battery is rated at 115km WMTC at a steady 50km/h. In practice expect roughly 137km ridden gently, around 97km in mixed use and about 64km if you are using Sport and Turbo hard. Charging from 20% to 80% takes about 2.5 hours on the supplied 1000W charger, with a full charge in roughly 4–5 hours.

What suspension and brakes does it have?

A 37mm inverted front fork gives 240mm of travel with independently adjustable compression and rebound, and the TR Intersect rear monoshock matches it with 240mm of travel adjustable for preload, compression and rebound. Braking is hydraulic disc front and rear on 240mm rotors with 4-piston calipers, plus BERS regenerative braking for adjustable engine-braking feel.

Can I ride it in the rain and through mud?

Yes. Sur-Ron rates the Ultra Bee at IP67, so wet Irish weather, puddles and mud are not a problem. Avoid pressure washing directly at the motor, battery contacts or electrical connectors, and dry the bike down after wet rides to protect the chain, fasteners and brake components.

Who does it suit, and what is the seat height?

Seat height is 910mm and curb weight is 88.5kg, with a maximum load of 100kg. It is a full-size dirt bike, so it suits riders of roughly 1.70m and above. It is genuinely fast, so newer riders should start in Eco or Daily, use the softest throttle curve, and always wear a helmet and full off-road protective gear.

What is in the box, and how much assembly is needed?

The Ultra Bee arrives approximately 95% assembled with the 1000W charger included. Typically only the handlebar and front wheel need fitting, and the suspension is worth setting to your weight before the first ride. If you would rather not do it yourself, we can build and prep the bike for you at our Ballymount workshop before collection or delivery.

Do you deliver, and is finance available?

Yes. Inner City Scooters delivers across Ireland and the EU from our Ballymount, Dublin showroom, and you are welcome to collect in person. Finance and instalment options are available at checkout subject to approval. We stock Sur-Ron parts and offer in-house servicing and repairs in Dublin, and the bike carries a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Contact us for current warranty terms and finance providers.
