FAQ about the Fiido C11 Electric Bike
Is the Fiido C11 road-legal in Ireland?
Yes. Ridden in pedal-assist (pedelec) mode, the C11 is a 250 W e-bike with assistance cutting off at 25 km/h, meeting the EU EPAC standard — so in Ireland it's treated like a normal bicycle, with no tax, insurance or licence required. The unlockable 500 W mode is for private land only.
How far can it go on one charge?
Up to 90 km in pedal-assist mode. Real-world range depends on assist level, rider weight, hills and weather — a couple of reviewers note hillier or cold-weather routes use more battery, which is normal for any e-bike.
How long does it take to charge?
The 499.2 Wh battery charges in roughly 6–8 hours, and it's removable so you can charge it indoors or at your desk.
Can I ride it in the rain?
Yes. The C11 has an IP54 rating for dust and water protection, so it handles Irish rain and splashes. Avoid deep water and dry it down after wet rides.
What rider height does it suit, and what colours are available?
Its step-through frame with adjustable seat and bars fits riders from roughly 150 cm to 200 cm. It comes in Emerald Blue and White.
Does it have lights, a rack and security built in?
Yes — integrated front and brake lights with a horn, a rear rack, reflective tyres, and a one-key system that locks both the frame and the removable battery.
Is it available on the Bike to Work scheme?
Yes — the Fiido C11 is eligible under the Bike to Work scheme. We typically dispatch within 1–2 working days, with delivery across Ireland in around 2–3 working days, or collect in-store in Dublin.
What warranty and servicing do you offer?
The C11 comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, and our Dublin workshop can service and repair it locally.
