Is the Fiido Air road-legal in Ireland?
Yes. It's a true pedelec with a 250 W motor, pedal-assist only (no throttle) and assistance that cuts off at 25 km/h, so it meets the EU pedelec (EPAC) standard and is treated like a bicycle in Ireland — no tax, insurance or licence needed. It's also eligible for the Bike to Work Scheme.

What range can I expect?

How long does the battery take to charge?
Around 3–4 hours with the supplied 36 V 2 A charger — noticeably quicker than larger e-bike batteries.
What is a carbon belt drive and why does it matter?
The GATES carbon belt drive replaces a traditional chain. It needs no oil or grease, won't mark your trousers, runs almost silently and requires very little maintenance — ideal for clean daily commuting.
Does it have gears or suspension?
It's a single-speed belt drive (no derailleur) with a rigid carbon fork, which keeps it light and low-maintenance. The torque-sensor motor assists smoothly across gradients, and the 700 × 40C tyres soak up rough surfaces.
How long is delivery and is it free?
We deliver across Ireland and the EU, typically within 3–5 working days for in-stock items, and the Air is also available in-store in Dublin. Delivery costs are shown at checkout.
